What kind of floor drain should I choose to prevent mosquitoes? Posted by : admin / Posted on : Jun 04, 2021

The weather is getting hotter and hotter. Sometimes I find that there are a few more mosquitoes on the toilet lid, but there is obviously no water in the house? I took the mosquito killer and sprayed it randomly. Although the mosquitoes are wiped out right now, there will still be a steady stream of mosquitoes coming in in a few days...
To cut the weeds and roots, you have to prescribe the right medicine. So where do these mosquitoes come from? The answer is: floor drain.

Although this floor drain is only worth tens of yuan, if you don't choose it well, it will still have a great impact on your daily life.

In many people's minds, the most important floor drains role of a floor drain is to filter and drain, but in fact it also shoulders the functions of anti-insect, anti-odor and anti-bacteria in the bathroom.

Insect prevention: refers to preventing cockroaches and small insects from entering the room through the sewer.

Deodorant: partition the sewer to prevent the odor in the sewer from overflowing.

Anti-bacterial: Prevent the growth of bacteria caused by the material of the floor drain that is not easy to clean.

The whole floor drain consists of five parts: cover plate, filter screen, floor drain main body, drain joint, floor drain core, and the structure of each part plays a very important role. The cover plate is the "frontal responsibility" of the entire floor drain, which is responsible for leveling the ground, filtering water, and preventing large impurities from blocking the main body of the floor drain. The filter screen is responsible for filtering the water and preventing small impurities from clogging the water pipe.

The main body of the floor drain and the drain joint are responsible for connecting the cover plate and the floor drain core, which is an indispensable link in the entire drainage process.

The floor drain core is the "strength responsibility" of the entire floor drain, and the anti-odor prevention and drainage functions are all realized by it.

The standard for judging the quality of floor drain is to look at its drainage speed, ease of cleaning, deodorization and durability. There are many types of floor drains, roughly divided into two categories, water-sealed floor drains and self-sealed floor drains.

Water-sealed floor drain refers to the use of water in the floor drain trap to achieve a sealing effect, which is now common U-shaped floor drain and N-shaped floor drain.

The self-sealing floor drain is to seal the floor drain with springs, magnets, bearings and other mechanical devices or soft materials, which are now called T-shaped floor drains and spring floor drains.

U-shaped floor drain is divided into deep water seal and shallow water seal, and deep water seal has better waterproof effect.

Disadvantages: Due to the addition of a bend in the drainage process, the drainage function is weak, and it is not friendly to families with large drainage; once the water in the trap is dry, it is easy to return odor, so keep the trap moist.

Drainage player: T-shaped floor drain

The T-shaped floor drain is realized by the balance of magnetic force and gravity. When water flows through, the gravity of the water will open the gasket of the floor drain, and the water can flow out through the drain. The drainage speed is faster than that of the U-shaped floor drain.

Once there is no water flow, the sealing gasket will be tightly closed by magnetic force to achieve the sealing effect, and the effect of anti-insect, anti-odor and anti-reflow is better.

The T-shaped floor drain is not easy to accumulate dirt and is easy to clean, but the inner core needs to be unscrewed during cleaning to be rinsed.
